Facing a Title IX Complaint at UNG?
Meet AJ Richman
I have been advising and counseling Respondent Students in Title IX cases at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega for over 10 years. I have successfully defended students from their initial meetings with the Dean to the final hearing in the case.
I am a criminal defense attorney and specialize in sexual assault defense. These crimes include Rape, Domestic and Dating Violence allegations, Computer Privacy, and Stalking, among others. These crimes are all implicated when someone is accused of a Title IX violation.
Prior to becoming a criminal defense attorney, from 2008 to 2013 I was a State prosecutor in Dahlonega and nearby jurisdictions. I focused on crimes against women and children. I saw these Title IX cases being used in criminal prosecutions for the same conduct.
In every Title IX case, our team includes my paralegals and investigators. Our goal is to defend the allegations against you and keep you in school, while limiting any criminal exposure you have.
